Tampa Bay managed just six hits — thee of them by rookie Junior Caminero. Caminero doubled in the Rays only run.

Cleveland pitcher Joey Cantillo went five innings and allowed just three hits. For the day, the Rays were one-for-10 with runners in scoring position.

Tampa Bay trailed 4-0 when Caminero drove in Jonny DeLuca. But the Guardians added solo homers from Jose Ramirez and Lane Thomas.

The Rays are now 73-76 on the season.

Tampa Bay and Cleveland play again today at 1:40 p.m. Taj Bradley will start for the Rays against Ben Lively.
