At a time like this, in a season that is going nowhere, the USF Bulls are looking for a leader.

Right now, Isaiah Manderson looks pretty good.

Manderson had his second straight impressive performance in a 73-55 loss to Temple Saturday. Manderson hit nine of 12 points and scored 18 points, following his 15-point performance against UConn in the Bulls' last game.

USF fell to 8-18, only 1-12 in the American Conference.

“That’s back-to-back," said USF coach Brian Gregory. "I thought his best game as a Bull, no…his best game in his career was the other night at UConn, and I thought he exceeded that today. He’s been practicing better, a little greater focus, a little greater attention to detail. Obviously the one thing with Isaiah is the consistency is his biggest piece. I think if you play the right way and every day in practice you’re getting better and you’re valuing what you’re doing every day, it gives you a better chance to play better.”

Freshman David Collins and Peyton Banks each had 10 points for USF.

USF managed to get a 30-30 tie in the first half, but the Owls outscored the Bulls 43-25 down the stretch.

USF is at UCF on Wednesday.
