The Tampa Bay Lightning won their fourth straight game Monday night, smothering the New York Islanders 4-1 The Bolts have scored 23 goals in their streak.

Goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy stopped 28 shots to take his 36th win of the season. 

The Bolts took a 1-0 lead in the first period on a goal from Oliver Bjorkstrand. It was his 20th goal of the season, his fourth with the Lightning.

The Islanders tied the goal late in the period when Bo Horvath scored.

The Bolts scored twice in the second period on goals by Jake Guentzel (his 38th) and defenseman Victor Hedman (his 14th). Chris Paul finished the scoring with an empty netter in the third period. It was his 22nd of the season.

The Bolts are now 44-25-5 on the season.

Tampa Bay plays again against Ottawa on Thursday night at 7 p.m.
