Carson Beck probably wrecked his Heisman Trophy campaign Friday night.

Whether he took Miami's national title remains to be seen.

Beck, a high-priced transfer from Georgia, threw. his fourth interception of the night with 32 seconds left (while the Canes were in position to kick the tying field goal) in a 24-21 game.

For the night, Beck threw for 271 yards. But his turnovers doomed the Canes. Coming into the game, Beck had just three interceptions.

The defeat knocked the second-rated Hurricanes out of the ranks of the undefeated. With a 12-team playoff, of course, the Canes still have a shot at the playoffs.

Louisville's Miller Moss thew for 248 yards and two touchdowns. Isaac Brown ran for 113 yards, and Chris Bell caught nine passes for 136 yards.

Miami receiver Malachi Toney caught nine passes for 135 yards.

Miami is home next Saturday against Stanford at 7 p.m.
