Now that they’re back home, maybe the Rays could get back home a little more often.

The Rays’ offense sagged again Tuesday night in a 3-1 loss to the Kansas City Royals. It was the sixth time in the last 12 games the Rays have scored one run or fewer in despite the five-game winning streak they had coming in.

The Rays got a good night from third baseman Junior Caminero who homered and had three hits. Yandy Diaz had two hits. The rest of the Rays had just three hits, however. They were one-for-four with runners in scoring position and left nine on base.

Taj Bradley gave up runs in the first and second inning, then shut down the Royals in his seven-inning stint.

The Rays and Royals play again tonight at 7 p.m. at Steinbrenner Field. Drew Rasmussen will start for the Rays against Noah Cameron.
