For the second straight day, the Rays went down without much of a fight Wednesday, dropping a 2-1 decision to Baltimore. The Rays held the Orioles to six runs in the three game series, but lost two of three.
Tampa Bay hitters were just one-for-15 with runners in scoring position the last two games.
Wander Franco singled home the Rays’ only run.
Yonny Chirinos gave up two runs in the sixth to take the loss.
