The Rays pulled off a rare easy victory Sunday, beating the Red Sox 7-2. In doing so, they handed Kutter Crawford his league-leading 16th loss of the season.
The Rays had 10 hits, including a home run by Junior Caminero, who had three RBI. Caminero and Brandon Lowe each had three hits four the Rays.
Shane Baz, 4-3, won his third straight start, giving up two runs and three hits in six innings.
The Rays fell behind 1-0, but scored the game’s next six runs.
The Rays and Red Sox finish their seasons today. Ryan Pepiot will start for the Rays against Quinn Priester.
