He's known as the Team Good Guy. Mr. Congenialty. The perfect teammate.

Turns out, there is some ability inside of Christopher Morel, too.

Morel drove in four runs Sunday night to lead Tampa Bay to a 7-3 victory over Boston. Morel had a two-run double in the first inning and a two-run single in the eighth to ignite the Rays' offense. He also caught a fly ball against the wall and started a relay that threw Boston's Romy Gonzalez out at the plate.

Morel's batting average has been as low as .200 this season. It’s .223 now.

The win allowed the Rays to finish 41-40 at their temporary home of Steinbrenner Field.

The Rays scored three times in the first inning on Morel's double and an error.

Brandon Lowe made it 4-0 with his 30th home run of the season. Boston rallied to come within a run going into the bottom of the eighth.

Yandy Diaz and Junior Caminero started the inning with singles. Brandon Lowe walked to bring Morel to the plate. He singled to center, driving in two runs. Nick Fortes singled to center to load the bases. Jake Mangum's sacrifice fly drove in the team's seventh run.

For the night, Diaz, Caminero and Morel all had two hits for the Rays.

The Rays face Baltimore tonight at Camden Yards tonight at 6:35 p.m. Ryan Pepiot will start for the Rays against Dean Kremer.
