Saturday, the Miami Marlins got nine fewer runs.
They had eight fewer hits.
They had seven fewer walks.
Oh, and the Rays had one more win.
Rasmussen went six strong innings Saturday in a 4-0 shutout of the Marlins. Rasmussen gave up just four hits. The Marlins didn’t walk at all after getting seven the night before.
It was the third shutout of the season for Rays’ pitching.
