After back-to-back losses, the Orioles stormed back to show the Tampa Bay Rays just what they had, clobbering the Rays 8-0 to retain control of the AL East. All of the strengths of the Orioles was on display in the lopsided win.

The O’s ambushed starter Tyler Glasnow, getting to him for eight hits and six runs in his four innings of work. The O’s scored once in the first inning and four more times in the second.
For the night, Baltimore had 11 hits. Outfielders Aaron Hicks and Austin Hays had nice running catches, and pitcher Grayson Rodriguez handcuffed the Rays, who had just five hits and were one-for-six with runners in scoring position.
Rodriguez went eight innings and struck out seven.
Gunner Henderson had a two-run homer and two other hits for Baltimore.
The Orioles and Rays play again today at 1:35 p.m. Zack Littell will start for the Rays against Dean Kremer.
