The USF Bulls won big again Saturday. Which, as you know by now, beats the alternative.

The Bulls, 5-5, are a team separated by their schedule. They have won five times, and each time, they have scored 35 points or more. They have lost five times, to powerhouses such as Alabama, Miami, Tulane and Memphis. They either run away, or they get run over.
You want further evidence: The five teams the Bulls have beaten have combined for just 10 wins. The five who have beaten them have combined for 41.
USF moved to 5-5 Saturday, rushing for 425 yards in a 59-24 victory over Charlotte. The Bulls trailed early, 7-0 and 10-7, but scored 31 points in the third period to run away with the game.
The Bulls barely threw the ball in their win, getting just 126 yards through the air. But USF ran for six scores (and scored twice on defense).
Kelley Joiner rushed for 140 yards and two scores in the win.
In its five wins, USF has outscored opponents 235-97. In their five losses, they’ve given up 186 and scored just 51.
The Bulls are home Saturday afternoon against Tulane.
Florida 27, LSU 16: Quarterback D.J. Lagway, it turns out, was just what the Gators were missing.
Florida, reeling most of the season, took advantage of Lagway’s return to upset the Tigers, scoring 14 points in the third period. Lagway threw for 226 yards to pace the Gators.
Receiver Elijah Badger caught six passes for 131 yards.
Florida, 5-5, is home against Ole Miss on Saturday.
