Now that the Tampa Bay Bucs have announced their intention to pass opponents silly, they have followed with the hint that teams won’t do the same to them.

The Bucs spent day two of the NFL draft focused on repairing their anemic secondary, drafting Benjamin Morrison in the second round and Jacob Parrish in the third.

The Bucs were 30th in the league in passing yards allowed.

That was enough to draft Morrison from Notre Dame and Parrish from Kansas State. Both figure to compete for playing time.

The selections fit a need more than Emeka Egbuka, their first-round pick, who is talented but a receiver. The Bucs would remind everyone that the team had three top receivers each time is has won the Super Bowl. (Keyshawn Johnson, Kevin McCardell and Joe Jurevicius the first time, Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Antonio Brown the second).

Going into the final day of the draft, the Bucs need inside linebackers, maybe a defensive tackle and an edge.
