Don’t look now, but the Tampa Bay Lightning are in a heap of trouble.
The Lightning came up with nosthing in Thursday’s playoff game against the Flordia Panthers, losing 2-0 at home. The Bolts trail in the series 2-0, and both games have come at home at Amalie Arena. Tampa Bay now travels to Florida for the next two games, and the Bolts have been mediocre on the road all season.
Sergei Bobrovskiy pitched his fourth career playoff game in the victory.
Florida beat the Lightning a year ago, 4-1, and have now allowed the Bolts just one goal in twto games.
It was quite the disappointment for the Bolts, who were eighth in the league on offense this season. But so far in the series, the Panthers have held the Lightning stars such as Nikita Kucherov, Brayden Point, Jake Guentzel and Brandon Hagel in check.
The Bolts are at the Panthers at noon on Saturday.
