Phil Esposito was a Hall of Fame forward for the Boston Bruins. Not only that, the Tampa Bay Lightning was his brainchild, and he was the team's first owner. Even now, he works on the team's radio crew. Each week, Esposito will answer questions from readers. To ask Phil a question, send it to GarySheltonsports@gmail.com

Considering the recent struggles of the Lightning, how big a lift was the debut of goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy Tuesday?

I've always liked him. I saw him about a year and a half ago in the KHL, and I asked the guy I was with, “Who does this guy belong to?'' It turns out, he belonged to Tampa. That's great.
