Yeah, that's the way to finish a game.

The Tampa Bay Lightning, often soft in their third periods this season, finally rallied for a victory Thursday night at the Crypto.com Arena against the L.A. Kings.

The Bolts scored three goals in the final 3:39 of play to win their sixth straight victory by a score of 5-3.

Tampa Bay trailed 3-2 with 3:39 to play, and the Kings seemed in control of the game. But the Bolts got goals from Anthony Cirelli, Gage Goncalves and Nikita Kucherov (empty netter). It was Kucherov's 19th goal. Cirelli has 11 and Goncalves' has four.

Brayden Point scored twice early, his eighth and ninth of the year.

Goalie Jonas Johansson saved 17 of 20 shots for his ninth win of the year (six losses).

"They're a tough team to play against," Lightning coach Jon Cooper said of the Kings. "We just saw them last month in Tampa. It's hard to get time and space.

"We were knocking at the door. It was just whether we could get through. Fortunately, we did."

The Bolts trail Detroit by one point in the Atlantic Division.

Tampa Bay travels to San Jose on Saturday at 4 p.m. at the SAP Center.
