Lagway struggled against Kentucky./TIM WIRT

Sunday, 3 a.m.

After a game like this, it seems like a good time to fire the head football coach.

Wait. The University of Florida already did that.

After the Gators were walloped by a 3-5 (coming into the game) Kentucky team, 38-7, there may be a search for a new person to blame. The Gators fell to 4-5 on the season.

Quarterback D.J Laggway threw three interceptions and passed for just 83 yards against Kentucky. The Gators ran for just 104 yards.

Kentrucky got 104 yards rushing yards from Dante Dowdell.

Florida travels to play Ole Miss on Saturday night.

Clemson 24, FSU 10: The Seminoles' mediocre season got a little worse Saturday night.

FSU managed just one touchdown in their loss to the Tigers. Both teams are now 4-5 on the season.

Clemson's Cade Klubnik therw for 221 yards in the win. FSU's Tommy Castellansos threw for 250 yards.

FSU is home on Saturday against Virginia Tech at 7:30 p.m.

Miami 38, Syracuse 10: They weren't quite as sharp as they were before their November swoon, but Miami shook off a slow start and beat the Orangemen going away.

The Hurricanes punted on their first four possessions Saturday before finding their rhythm. They scored two touchdowns in 23 seconds on a 14-yard pass from Malachi Toney back to Carson Beck abd a 38-yard interception return by Keuinte Scott.

Beck later threw his own touchdown pass to Keelan Marion for 61 yards. Marion cauhgt three passes for 116 yards.

Syracuse's only touchdown came with 21 seconds to play.
