At a time you might have thought players would be slowing down, it turns out that Anthony Cirelli has another gear.
Cirelli stole the puck and outraced three defenders to score the winning goal in a 2-1 overtime victory over the Dallas Stars Thursday night.
Cirelli scored his sixth goal of the year with 2:36 gone in overtime, averting a frustrating offensive night for the Bolts. Tampa Bay got off 32 shots, but Jake Oettinger of Dallas stopped 30.
It was the fourth straight win for the Bolts.
Brandon Hagel scored the first goal for the Bolts, slipping the puck behind Oettinger. It took a replay to validate the goal. It was his third goal of the year.
Former Bolt Adam Erne scored Dallas' goal early in the third period. It was his first goal in two years.
The Bolts play Sunday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. in Utah.
