For all the losses, for all the errors, for all the weak at-bats, only one thing is wrong with the Chicago White Sox.

Not enough Rays.

The White Sox won just their ninth game of the season — and their fourth against the Rays — in a 4-1 victory over Tampa Bay on Wednesday. The Rays managed just three hits against Chris Flexen and saw their five-game winning streak snapped.

Isaac Paredes drove in the Rays only run with a fourth-inning double.  But the Rays were just one-for-three with runners in scoring position.

Aaron Civale had a shutout through four innings, but in the fifth, he gave up a single, double and home run by  Paul DeJong.

Flexen went six innings and struck out eight for his second win of the year against the Rays.

Harold Ramirez had two of the Rays’ four hits.

The Rays are off today, then begin a three-game home series against the Yankees. Taj Bradley is scheduled to start his first game of the season for Tampa Bay.
