The last time USF beat Tulane, it felt good enough that the Bulls wanted to do it again.
Instead, USF lost a 79-68 game to Tulane. The Green Wave had been the last team that USF had beaten, and its only victory in its last 15 games. USF is now 8-21 on the season, and 1-15 in conference play.

“Not an energetic enough effort from our guys today," USF coach Brian Gregory said. "Our defensive effort wasn’t where it needs to be. Our rebounding effort wasn’t where it needs to be. We had some guys that did some good things, but we need multiple
guys doing a lot of good things.
"I thought we defended better in the second half, moved the ball offensively better in the second half, but we just put ourselves in too big of a hole again.”
Freshman David Collins led USF in scoring for the third straight games, scoring 17 points. Steven Jiggetts scored 14. Isaiah Manderson had 12 points and Payton Banks had 10.
The Bulls travel to Memphis for their last regular season road game on Thursday night. USF will take on the Tigers at 9 p.m.
