USF held Howard to three-of-23 from beyond the arc and scored 24 points on  Howard's 19 turnovers.

Steven Jiggits hit four of five three- pointers and finished with 16 points. Payton Banks also had four three pointers and finished with 14 points. Tulio Da Silva had 10 points, and Curtis Samuels had nine points and four assists.

USF plays Arkansas State at noon on Friday.
