Looking back on Rays loss to Texas

5 Thoughts

  1. Take the worst of the Tampa Bay Rays team, any one managed by Larry Rothschild or Hal McRae, and they would have done better against Texas than these Rays did.

2. Yeah, I would have pulled Zach Eflin earlier than Kevin Cash did, but I still think it was Cash’s best job to coax 99 wins out of a Rays team in disarray.

3. If Jeffrey Springs or Shane McClanahan were healthy, would either of the Rays starter have pitched in the first two games?

4. It would be easy to knock the low attendance if only there was something to see.

5. The Rays are on a 1-9 streak in the post-season. Anyone think it needs more hitting?
