A Tampa Bay Lightning fan is sure to find the symbolism as sweet as the night itself.

It was early in the first period, and Johnson, today's diminutive star for the Tampa Bay Lightning, was in the clear. Behind him was Marty St. Louis, yesterday's diminutive star for the Lightning. It was now vs. then, present vs. past, moment vs. memory.

And Johnson, the guy who owns the NHL playoffs, won.

Not to pick on St. Louis, who had fumbled away the puck, then chased Johnson but
