In two seasons, they have come so far.

In two seasons, they have passed FSU so dramatically.

The Florida Gators are not back, of course. If they were, the nation would be talking about championships and Heismans. But they're pretty good, and again, they've significantly changed positions with the FSU Seminoles.

Two seasons ago, they were distinctly behind the fortunes of the Seminoles. Both programs had just changed coaches, but it seemed as if the Gators were the program in need of a major overhaul.

Well, look at them now. Florida has just come off is second consecutive 10-win season, and its second convincing victory in the schools' rivalry. This time, the Gators won a 40-17 drubbing of FSU that featured eight sacks.

Kyle Trask threw for 343 yards on the night.

The Gators scored 23 points in the second quarter.
