Maybe you'll remember the outburst in the first period, led by Brandon Hagel's impressive night..
Maybe you'll remember Jonas Johansson's 31-save performance.
Maybe, just maybe, you'll remember Anthony Cirelli's clinching goal with time running out.
And maybe you'll remember all of it.
The Bolts won an impressive 5-3 victory over a hot Washington Capitals team Saturday night. The Lightning killed a power play with a two-man deficit in the third period.
Lightning coach Jon Cooper thought Hagel's short-handed goal to tie the game at 1-1 was a big moment.
"The shorty was the big one," Cooper said. "It's tough when you give up a goal in the first minute. Half of our team hadn't touched the ice yet."
Tampa Bay played much of the night without Nikita Kucherov and Brayden Point.
The Bolts have now won 11 of their last 14 games and are now 12-7-2 on the year.
Hagel had two goals and two assists, both goals coming in a four-goal first period. Nikita Kucherov and Oliver Bjorkstrand also scored to give the Bolts a 4-1 lead.
Washington came back to within 4-3 five and a half minutes into the third period. But Cirelli closed it out with his sprawling goal with 4:09 left to play.
The Bolts are home against the Philadelphia Flyers at Benchmark International at 7 p.m.
