Glasnow injured in big Rays’ victory

June 15, 2021 general

Tuesday, 4 a.m. After a win this large, the Tampa Bay Rays should be euphoric. They should be talking about the power in their lineup. They should be talking about the stars of their bullpen. Instead, they are in a holding pattern. Uh-oh. The Rays lost pitcher Tyler Glasnow after four innings Tuesday night to […]

Arozarena’s slam leads to sweep by Rays

June 14, 2021 general

Monday, 3 a.m. On second thought, maybe the Orioles should have pitched to Austin Meadows, after all. Oops. Talk about decisions gone wrong. June 9, 2021 general

Wednesday, 3 a.m. The Rays have big weapons. Tyler Glasnow, for instance. They have interchangeable weapons. This time, it was Mike Brosseau. And, yes, they have a secret weapon. Rays have profited from moving on

June 8, 2021 general

Tuesday, 4 a.m. Personally, I still miss Evan Longoria. I miss his perspective. I miss his approach. I miss the way he measured up to the big moments. But, no, I don’t miss him 18.6 million dollars a year. I miss David Price, too. I miss watching him blossom as a young player, his future […]
