Bucs, Smith give each other what they need

After a while, a man gets used to his path being blocked.

One team after another would look at Jacquies Smith, and one team after another would shake its head. He wasn't big enough. He wasn't strong enough. He wasn't special enough. After a while, then, Smith's story was written on pink slips, defined by rejection, good enough to for look but not for a job.

Miami. Hamilton. New York. Buffalo.

One after the other, they all took a quick look at Smith. None of them thought he was a keeper.
