Did someone move the net on the Tampa Bay Lightning while they weren’t looking?

Suddenly, the Bolts cannot win, largely because they cannot score. Saturday night, they fell 2-1 to the Los Angeles Kings despite getting off 35 shots. Thirty-four of them, however, were stopped by Kings goalie Darcy Kuemper.

The Bolts have now lost three straight games, and they’ve managed just four goals in them.

Defenseman Victor Hedman scored the Bolts’ only goal, a long blast that gave the team as 1-0 lead. The Kings tied the game in the first period on a goal by Mikey Anderson. They scored the winner with 5:08 left to play on a shot by Adrian Kempe.

Tampa Bay plays this evening (7:30 p.m.) in a game at the Anaheim Ducks.
