The Jets’ quarterback Geno Smith was sucker punched by a teammate last week, which brings to mind the old image of Clint Longley punching Roger Staubach. What’s the worst case you’ve been around of teammates that didn’t get along, so much that you had to get rid of one of them? And do you agree with George Seifert that the Jets are better off with Ryan Fitzpatrick?

The worst situation I saw was when the Bucs drafted Vinny Testaverde with the number 1 overall pick, then later on traded a No. 1 pick to the Colts for quarterback Chris Chandler. There was definite friction in the locker room given both were looked at as starters and the team was divided on who they wanted to start.

It was a desperate move by then head coach Ray Perkins, who was going into his forth
