I read a first-person piece by Albert Haynesworth this week, who was once a great defensive tackle. But by the time he finally got to the Tampa Bay Bucs, he might have been the worst player I've ever seen. He says he lost his passion for the game after he left the Titans. So here's the question: How much does passion have to do with a players' success vs. ability?

From my experience, it is what separates whether a special player will play special at the next level.

There have been countless busts who failed because they were cursed with ability. Meaning they had the talent, but not the drive. In college you can get away with it, but not at the pro level.
