Bucs should hold on to beat Washington

Well, the Washington Commanders are starting over.

once again compete for post-season play. Try as they might, the Bucs never seem to convince anyone that they are more than a middle-of-the-road-soft-of contender. They figure to run the ball better this year, and cover better, and their receivers should be good. Still, expectations are not, as they say, lofty.

Granted, the Bucs play a schedule that is beefy in the middle. That makes it important to start well, even against Washington’s rookie Jayden Daniels.

Look for the Bucs to start slow, but Washington has a lot of work to do defensively

Prediction: Tampa Bay 20, Washington 17.
