Well, never mind.
Remember all those wounded voices complaining when FSU was left out of this year's playoffs? Remember all the politicians who rushed for a photo op?
Um, forget they brought it up.
FSU -- at least, what is left of FSU after all the opt-outs and injuries -- were embarrassed Saturday by Georgia, a team that also had an argument to be in the final four. Georgia won 63-3, the worst loss for FSU in its history.

The Bulldogs had a 35-point second period to coast to the easy win. Carson Beck threw two touchdown passes -- but he threw only 18 passes in the entire game. Kendall Milton rushed for 104 yards -- but he carried only nine times. For the game, Georgia outrushed FSU 372-63.
This was nothing like the FSU team that had been 12-0 on its way to winning the ACC title. Thirty players -- including 14 starters -- opted out of the game.
