Here's a hint for those who run the football program at USF:

When you finally decide on a new head football coach, and trust me on this, don't let him see films of this defense.,

If you do, he's likely to ask for more money.

The Bulls, perhaps the worst team in America, played chase again in Friday night's 48-42 loss to a mediocre Tulsa team. It was the eighth time (sixth in a row) the Bulls have given up more than 40 points in a loss. It was also the seventh time the Bulls have given up more than 500 yards of total offense to their opponent.

The Bulls played one of their better offensive games behind freshman quarterback Byrum Brown, who competed his first 21 passes (he ended up 21 of 25) passes for 240 yards and three touchdowns. He also ran for 76 yards.

Running back Brian Battie rushed for 169 yards, giving him more than 1,000 yards for the season.

However, the Bulls defense more than made up for it. They gave up 221 yards rushing to Tulsa's Denericu Prince and 302 yards passing to quarterback Braylon Braxton, who made his first start.

The Bulls are home to face UCF next Saturday.

And this week’s predictions:
