The Bulls won their ninth of 10 home games Wednesday night, beating East Carolina, 88-47. On the night, USF hit 14 three-pointers.
Kitija Laksa had her 10th 20-point effort of the season, scoring 25 points. Laksa hit five three-pointers and had four rebounds, four assists

and a steal. Laura Ferreira scored 16 points and finished 71 percent from the floor. Maria Jespersen had 12 points. Alba Prieto had 13 and Vanessa Blagmon had 11. Laia Flores had nine rebounds.
“I’m pleased with how we shot the ball," said coach Jose Fernandez. "I don’t think we’ve shot the ball like that in a long, long time.”
Fernandez was impressed with freshman Prieto and Blagmon.
"They are going to have really nice careers here," Fernandez said. "They stayed with the process and have continued to work, invest and put in time. They got opportunities tonight and played very well.”
Sunday's game against Ohio State begins at 2 p.m.
