Blake Bortles is terrible, but I loved the comment under one of stories on him. If he was traded to the Bucs, they could advertize their quarterbacks as “Bortles and Jameis.”

– Say what you want about Jerry Palm, I like his college bowl forecast. In it, he has FSU playing Alabama in the national semifinals, South Florida playing Florida in the Peach Bowl, Miami playing Auburn in the Citrus Bowl, Michigan playing Oregon in the Holiday Bowl and Georgia playing Nebraska in the Outback Bowl.

The Bucs-Jags game drew a 1.6 share, the worst showing since a tape-delayed broadcast 13 years ago between the Colts and Falcons drew a 1.5. I think more people than that watched the last episode of Petticoat Junction.

– Former Buc Chris Simms said he accepted $100 handshakes while at Texas. Just a thought, but maybe some of those Longhorn boosters have change coming.
