What can LSU offer to FSU’s Fisher?

LSU wants Jimbo Fisher. Of course it does.

If a school is looking for a new coach, and LSU may be one of them, why wouldn't it want Jimbo? He's one of the finest coaches working today, and Urban Meyer and Nick Saban

Does Fisher like cajun food?

Does Fisher like cajun food?

seem to be on their way to being legends where they are.

Jimbo is young enough and accomplished enough, and he used to work at LSU. If Les Miles has worn out his taste in Baton Rouge, Fisher has enough dazzle for the alumni and enough razzle for the recruits, and he could make the SEC West smarter just by walking into the room.

So, yeah, if you're a Tiger alumnus, you're certainly going to buy into Fisher.

But would Fisher buy into LSU?

Look, no offense to the LSU faithful who, like most alumni, simply cannot believe that every head coach in American isn't lining up to

This is why I subscribed: perspective, reasoning, conclusions and commentary based on personally digging around behind the obvious, in countless hours of personal observation and interviews, rather than a column constructed with a boatload of cybermetrics, most of which are simply space fillers.
