The night couldn't have started a lot worse for the Tampa Bay Rays.

It couldn't have finished a lot better.

The Rays came from behind Tuesday night to beat the Yankees 4-2 to remain in second place in the American League East. It was a nice way to finish a terrible start for Tampa Bay.

In the first, Rays' starter Chris Archer gave up four hits and a walk -- and two runs -- to the first five batters he faced. However, Archer  settled down afterward and held the Yankees without another run afterward.

The Rays tied the game on a two-out single by David DeJesus, then went ahead on a sacrifice fly by Evan Longoria.
