Yes, pitching can be hard for a team to find.

Of course, you could always find it right under your nose, that is.

The suddenly-hot Tampa Bay Rays, who have seen their rotation partially come up lame, reached into their bullpen for a gem Wednesday night.

Cole Sulser and Jesse Scholtens tamed the Chicago White Sox, 8-3, for their fifth straight victory.

Actually, it was more lopsided than it sounds. The Rays took an 8-0 through eight innings.

Sulser started and threw two scoreless innings. Scholtens came on and pitchign five shutout innings and gave up just one hit.

It got a little messy at the end, with Ian Seymour tifin up two walks, two hits and three runs in his one inning of work.

By then, the Rays had a big lead. Junior Caminero and Jake Fraley hit solo homers. Jonny DeLuca hit a three-run homer.

Caminero had two hits. Chandler Simpson had his one-base streak end at 15 games.

The Rays play the White Sox again today at 2:10 p.m. at Rate Field. Steven Matz will start for the Rays against Anthony Kay.
