Even now, winning the game matters

February 17, 2017 general

Lynch or Barber? Who goes in first?

February 15, 2017 general

Wednesday, 4 a.m. There for a while, John Lynch was my favorite Buc. Oh, Derrick Brooks was the best player. No doubt about that. His internal fires burned hot, and while Brooks didn’t beat his chest, he had a pride to what he brought to the table. He was once described as a traffic cop, […]

February 12, 2017 general

I can’t wait for the NFL combines, if only to see Western Kentucky’s Forest Lamp perform in the 40. I imagine dozens of NFL scouts and one guy yelling “Run, Forest, run.” – A San Antonio woman is suing Popeyes for serving her her rice and beans that had “flesh-eating screwworms” in it. On the […]

Key to Bucs’ off-season? Help Winston

February 9, 2017 general

Thursday, 6 a.m. Jameis Winston was better in 2016. If you didn’t see it, you probably weren’t looking. I say this because I was scrolling through through the internet Wednesday when I happened upon one of those first-to-last quarterback ratings from the NFL. Having more time than sense, I decided to look. And once again, […]
