Bolts offense explodes again

There for a while, it felt as if the Tampa Bay Lightning was lost in the desert.

Just like that, it turned into a stroll on the beach.

After behind shut out in back-to-back games, and losing four straight, the Bolts won their second game in two games Thursday night with a 8-4 thumping of the New Jersey Devils at the Prudential Center.

The Bolts scored three times in the first eight minutes to chase Jersey goalie Jacob Markstrom.

Tampa Bay has scored 14 goals in two games.

The Bolts got two goals from Oliver Bjorkstrand, his third and fourth of the year. Also scoring were Nick Paul, Darren Raddysh, Pontus Holmberg, Jake Guentzel, Bradon Hagel and Brayden Point.]

Nikita Kucherov had four assists.

Goaltendere Jonas Johansson, playing in place of Andrei Vasileskiy, stopped 33 of 37 shots.
