Hagel takes over in Lightning win

For 58 minutes and 44 seconds, it was anybody's game.

Then it was Hagel time.

Lightning forward Brandon Hagel took over the closing minutes of Tampa Bay's 5-3 win Saturday night. Hagel scored twice in the last 1:44, completing a hat-trick in the Bolts' first win on the road of the season.

The Lighning improved its record to 4-1.

Hagel broke a 3-3 tie with his second goal of te nihgt. Twenty-one seconds later, he added an empty netter. Hagel now has four goals on the season.

Jake Guentzel had two goals for the Bolts.

Tampa Bay led by two goals twice, at 2-0 and 3-1, but couldn't hold it.

Andrei Vasilevskiy won his third game for the Bolts. He stopped 20 of 23 shots.

The Bolts play at the New York Rangers on Tuesday night at 7:15. at Madison Square Gardens.
