Not long ago, they wanted his head.

Now, they notice the size of the brain inside.

For Norvell, it was the ninth win of the season (the fifth straight). In his first two seasons at FSU, he had a total of just eight wins.

The Seminoles got 270 yards passing and 83 yards rushing from quarterback Travis Jordan. They also got 111 yards rushing from Trey Benson.

The Gators had 128 yards from Trevor Etienne and 148 receiving yards from Ricky Pearsall. Quarterback Anthony Richardson had a hot start, but he was contained in the second half.

The Gators drove to the FSU 26 in the closing seconds, but Richardson threw an incomplete pass after a heavy rush from the Seminoles.

FSU finished the regular season 9-3. Florida was 6-6.
