Tuesday, 6 a.m.

A couple of times, he has been wobbly.

A couple of times, he has given a glimpse of how good he can be.

And so it has gone with Jameis Winston, a little good, a little bit, a little up, a little down, a little bit sure, a little bit shaky. He was not good against Tennessee. He was excellent against New Orleans. He had a miserable afternoon against Carolina. He was very good against Jacksonville.

But overall, all things considered, how has Winston done for the first five weeks?

Not bad. Promising, in fact, if you compare him to others who have played the position.

For Winston, that's the difficult part. Everyone wants greatness out of a microwave. You wanted accuracy from the start. You wanted touchdowns. You want no turnovers. You wanted, desperately, for Winston to be a 10th year pro in his first few games. Ring of Honor. Hall of Fame. All of that.

No, it isn't realistic. A quarterback on a team that was 2-14

Bottom line is….chill out fans there is still hope! Hope Winston gets better, hope the coaching gets better and hope the team gets better! I’m still holding on to my 6 -10 prediction for this season……I hope.

I think 6-10 is doable. Did you get a load of the defensive rankings? Fifth?
