The puck is like the rest of us. It loves Tyler Johnson.

It loves the story of the undrafted star, of the kid from nowhere, of the kid no one expected anything from. It loves his crooked smile. It loves his unassuming nature.

But if it didn't, if Johnson had taken a left turn on his way to stardom, then it would probably love Nikita Kucherov.
