Say Lovie Smith loves Marcus Mariota.

A lot of people do. In Philadelphia, he’s the quarterback that everyone wants, largely because he played a bit for coach Chip Kelley. He won the head-to-head matchup by a lot. He won the Heisman.

So it isn’t that far-fetched to think that Lovie leans tog Mariota. His buddy Tony Dungy loves Mariota. Yes, Smith has praised Jameis Winston completely, but thinking Winston is the No. 2 guy in the entire country isn’t an insult. Mariota is quiet like Smith. Mariota is dull like Smith.

Say Jason Licht, on the other hand, likes Winston.
