Friday, 2:22 p.m.

They rolled the baseballs onto the field Friday. No one wondered if they were deflated.

They rolled them past the seats that were still covered in plastic, and past the stacks of dirt that will be used underneath the turf. They rolled them onto the field which, thankfully, was in the shape of a baseball diamond instead of the football field it has resembled as of late.
