Monday, 6 a.m.

The man with the headset is the one to blame.

He pleads for this free agent and that one, and the priority is his choosing. He decides to call the defensive signals if he wants. He picks the offensive coordinator. He is the architect of the team.

When things go bad, where else but Lovie Smith is a fan to look?

And so Tampa Bay turns its eyes to Lovie Smith, a coach who has won only two games in 17 tries now, the worst record in the NFL. The raw truth: This team is no better off than the first day he walked through the door. Hey, I like Lovie. I think Lovie has brought some calm to the chaos. But if this team doesn't get better soon, how can one defend him?

You know, it appeared to me that the Bucs were playing like this was a preseason game and losing it didn’t count! The stupid penalties, and most of them were stupid, should not have happened ! Is that on the lack of coaching? Did Lovie think the NFL changed the rules on challenges and they would carry over to the next game? And didn’t it look like the Titans got their play game plan off a Madden game console.?Am I wrong or did they run 3 pass plays back to back that looked exactly the same? So where were the adjustments in the second half Coach? The Bucs have to get better, Winston has to get better. And Lovie & crew have to start coaching these young men up!

You think they lost count of the practice games?

Left a minute left in the 2nd quarter with immediate thoughts on who I can give my remaining tickets away to……but I don’t know anybody that I despise so much as to subject them to Bucs’ football.

It might be time to be looking at the 2016 draft and who the Bucs will take at No. 1

There is a song, an old song, Is That All There Is? The chorus goes, “If that’s all there is, my friend, then lets keep dancing, let’s break out the booze and have a ball…if that’s all….there is.” I can’t think of better advice at this point.
