It seems sillier and sillier to keep talking about the Tampa Bay Rays' chances of a wild-card playoff berth.

After all, the team seems to be moving away from the post-season as quickly as it can.

The Rays lost a 6-3 decision to the Kansas City Royals Saturday night, its fifth loss in its last six games. It dropped Tampa Bay to three games under .500.

Want to know what a playoff team looks like? Don't look in the mirror if you're a Ray. Look across the diamond to the Royals, a team that gives up runs like a miser and scores plenty itself.
