Tampa Bay Rays' pitcher Chris Archer continues to be one of sports' good guys. Archer teamed with national nonprofit Good Sports Thursday to provide
Little League profits by $11,000 worth of equipment./ERIC TILLOTSON
the Northwest Little League in Tampa with $11,000 worth of new baseball equipment for the season.
The donation includes, bats, catchers' equipment, batting helmets and training equipment for baseball and softball teams.
The donation is part of a partnership between the Rays and Good Sports in support of local youth in the Greater Tampa area.
Archer is one of the Rays with an eye toward helping./ERIC TILLOTSON
