Before you decide where the Bucs' 23-20 victory over the Falcons ranks among Lovie Smith's list of victories, you first have to say this:

The list isn't nearly long enough.

There have been only five wins in a season and a half, a number that would embarrass most coaches in the NFL. Five wins doesn't come with confetti. It doesn't come with a trophy. It doesn't come with a contract extension.

Certainly, it doesn't come with a lot of satisfaction by the home team.

That said, this one was the best of a short list.

Also, it's one in a row. Yippee.
