Maybe people already think it’s a done deal/eventuality that the team will leave and have turned them out already – why invest time watching a franchise who might be gone in a year?

Went to the game and couldn’t believe the 11k attendance for a NYY game…..I can’t see it getting any better. They didn’t even open the concessions where I have my season tickets – had to walk a ways to get a beer. It has really gotten bad – and the team is playing well above expectations and is only a game out of first with team salary 1/4th was some teams are paying.

When I yell I call him “Mo” – and “X” was in relief the other night, and “Ernie” and “Bell” and “Jepper”…who are these kids? And folks not coming out to the games are the big losers, these guys are just wonderful to watch in person. TV doesn’t do them justice.
